Events Planning by Mamu Emie and other Mommies

HomeThis is me...
Whenever someone asks me as to when did I start with this kind of profession, I always answer back, “Technically? Since birth.”

My parents, especially my mom believes so.

I was just barely three years old when I learned how to read. It was on the same year that, they have noticed how organized I was with all my Archie Comics and other reading materials.

When I started going to school, no one demands me to keep my things in order since they believe that I was too young for those kind of thingy. But surprisingly, I have these old boxes of underwear wherein I placed my school papers and activities separately, based on the subject.

So basically, my talent (as everybody wants to call it) of organizing events started with my skills of organizing my things, which is now popularly called as “obsessive compulsive”.

My first experience in organizing an event was when I was still in my seventh year of age. My parents got plans of leaving our place and transfer to Sorsogon Province. No idea as to when will we have the chance to go back to Manila.

And so, I gather all my playmates, with the help of a playmates elder sister, we organized a farewell party for myself.

The rest is history. Basically, my experience is a combination of the street events I handled for my playmates, functions in our church, events in our school, activities in our community, and happenings in my past works.

Not to mention that even if I don’t intend to apply for a position in a department, wherein organizing events is its main purpose, I still end up there. Like this fast food chain, I was hired as a cashier. But after a few months, I ended up as part of their marketing department, which I sometimes host kiddie parties. Another is in a department store, which I applied for the sales clerk position but was pulled out and got re-assigned to their Promotion Section.

After I gave birth to our daughter, an organizer by heart, I started making plans for her baptism and first birthday as early as possible. It was during those time that I was already preparing for her first birthday celebration that I got inspired organizing kiddie parties on a higher level.

And so… Dynamic Impact Events Management was born.

kathy, dapat talaga ninyong i-celebrate pala iyan since 3rd bday niya... coz for a child, yung 3rd bday talaga ang for them eh first celebration nila... kasi yan talaga yung age na very much aware na sila sa nangyayari sa paligid nila... you can even try asking him kung ano ang gusto niya eh... pero i recommend transformers

ria, the pleasure is mine. don't hesitate to post if you have questions in mind... in that way, other mommies can read it, too. thanks a lot for dropping by.

thebarramedas, mas feel ko ang chicken and gravy ng kfc... pero when it comes to party, mas feel ko pa rin ang Jabee!

archieandjanet, yes, we handle debut rin... pero on the theme, siya lang talaga ang makakasagot niyan since she's big enough to decide on that... mahirap kasi yung sasakay lang siya sa kung ano ang uso tapos on that day, saka niya mapi-feel na di naman pala bagay sa personality niya... and she well end up feeling not contented on "d day" and it will show on her face... ang pangit sa video at picture niyan.

dcosi, as i always say, wala talagang standard na party budget... it's all up to your willingness kung hanggang magkano lang talaga ang gusto mo... what may be budgeted party to you is a very bongga na to me and vice versa.... first and foremost, what you need to do is get the most number of guests na magkakaroon ka... and what is the lowest budget na willing mong ilabas... don't play on brackets... kasi lalo ka lang mahihirapan... stay on one figure lang... let me know if you have come up of the number of pax and budget then post it here, saka natin pag-usapan para mabasa rin nung ibang may ganitong tanong din ;) thanks for posting dear.

Hi Emie,

You've helped me before and here I go again asking for more help. How much budget would you suggest for a 200-300pax party? I want to keep it small so that's my absolute max no. of ppl. Gusto ko mejo tipid what do you suggest is a good tipid budget? Or maybe di naman tipid pero ayoko ng mahal, gusto ko ok pero yong tama lang. gulo ba? hehehe and what do you offer? I'm really lost and confused although I've talked to some suppliers na.

eventsplanning wrote on Mar 23

jhungrace wrote on Mar 19
which is better for character standee? the traditional styro or the latest na sticker then ididikit sa flexiboard? Thanks!

1ngr1dvann wrote on Mar 9

eventsplanning wrote on Mar 9
glad to be of help, donna.

1ngr1dvann wrote on Mar 9
Thank you so much Emie! You've been a big help.. as always. I thought of that, too -- dinner with the family, Ingrid's ninong and ninang and close friends na lang, para kahit pano we celebrated pa rin. Add na lang ako siguro, like what you did (gaya na lang ako sa yo hehe), na may balloons and cake.. then ang importante eh ang photos.Tama! Ganun na nga lang. I'll find na lang a good restaurant, if possible yung may function room na rin, na hindi separate ang payment sa food.. like yung sa Max's. Wala kasing magandang Max's sa banda naten eh! OK pa ang Luyong. Hehe. But anyhow.. I appreciate your help… big time!
